| Water | Yes but only if the Enamel Paint is water-based. It does not work with Oil-based Enamel Paints! |
| White Spirit / Mineral Spirit | Yes. This is probably the best choice for thinning Enamel Paints. |
| Lacquer Thinner | Possible but not recommended. It has a lot of drawbacks when used for Enamel Paints. |
| Alcohol | Possible but the results can vary greatly. So I would not recommend it |
